Course includes:
Ecosystems approach to Tree Planting ~ Hands-on Earthworks for water catchment ~ Hands-on Food-Forest Development ~ On-site Permaculture consultancy ~ Rainwater Harvesting Design ~ Dynamic Slideshows ~ Keyline Design
Food and Accommodations:
Course participants will be served all organic and vegetarian meals. On Friday and Saturday night, we will travel up to Anthony Chabot Campground for dinner, slide show sessions with Geoff, and camping in a beautiful Eucalyptus forest.
Cost:
The course costs $350-$250 sliding scale. Sliding scales are self-moderated scholarships that allow each participant to give according to their means. Thus, if you are just making ends meet, then $250 is a good price for you. If you are stable in your finances, but $350 would be a squeeze, then $300 is appropriate. If you can afford the full price of $350, then let it be so. All proceeds will go to support the implementation of the reforestation project at the MA Center.
